About Sierra Wealth Strategies
Sierra Wealth Strategies is a Personal Financial Planning and Investment Management firm. We work with Individuals and families who lack the Time, Energy, and skill to avoid costly financial mistakes. We act as your financial partner and can help in most of your Personal financial decisions, so you can focus on what is most important to you. Chaz Fahrner, CFP®, EA, MSBA
Chaz is the Owner/Operator of Sierra Wealth Strategies and is committed to working with clients to help them achieve their most fulfilled life through the Peak Planning Process.
Investment Career:
Chaz has worked with 2 nationally recognized investment and financial planning firms in San Diego where he developed a strong understanding of all aspects of the personal finance industry. At his previous firm, he held FINRA Series 7, 63, and 66 securities licenses as well as a life and health license. Over the course of 15 years in the finance industry, Chaz has created and monitored hundreds of financial plans for clients in a variety of financial situations.
Education:
Chaz is a CFP® practitioner (Certified Financial Planner®) and an EA (Enrolled Agent) with the IRS. He is a graduate of San Diego State University, earning his BA in Financial Services and receiving the SDSU Personal Financial Planning Certificate. Chaz also completed a Master’s Degree in Financial and Tax Planning from San Diego State University.
Personal Interests:
Chaz is originally from Boise, Idaho, and enjoys an active lifestyle from backpacking in the Sierra Mountains to gardening fresh fruits and vegetables in his garden. He also loves volunteering, cooking, watching Aztec sports, and spending time with friends and family. He lives in the charming South Park neighborhood with his dog Cooper.
